Ask a local Miami resident which Brickell condo/hotel has the best amenities in town and the chances are good that he or she will mention the Icon Brickell. Offering so much more than a place to plop your head on pillow at night, Icon Brickell is better described as an “urban development.”
The complex consists of three towers: North/tower 1, South/tower 2 and Viceroy/tower3. The towers are connected by the parking structure which has the pool on top. Tower 1 and Tower 2, the residential towers, have 58 stories each, while tower 3 has 50 stories. The architects were from the local Miami firm Arquitectonica and the interior design was the responsibility of the French designer Phillippe Starck in tower 1 and 2, while tower 3 was the responsibility of Kelly Wearstler.
The entrance of the complex contains huge stone sculptures that resemble moais, the monolithic human figures found in Easter Island.
The Viceroy Tower, the shortest of the three, is where you will find a mix of residences and hotel rooms, while the North and South Towers hold condominium units. The Viceroy is also home to a rooftop nightclub called Club 50. Amenities offered at the Viceroy differ from those in the other towers.
